So. Cal.

Spent a few days in So. Cal. shooting a story for Outside (magazine) TV. Good to see old friends, eat tacos - not good to drive on LA freeways and see endless strip malls. Life is good and I got to hang our with Sean Ziebarth, I love talking with Sean, we like a lot of the same art and culture stuff. Peace.

Gustav Vigeland 1869-1943

This is an old snap of me standing in front of one of my favorite sculptures of all time. The dad with 4 kids sculpture by Gustav Vigeland in Oslo, Norway. There is giant park of Gustav's work, over 200 pieces. I spent hours there in the rain with my Norwegian buddy, Maggie. It is an amazing place, one of the most powerful art experiences I have ever had. Below a shot of Maggie.

play

Some snaps from this summer's Lake Powell trip. I love watching the kids make up games. With a single soccer ball they played for hours. Against the wall, in the water, your turn, my turn, you win, I win. LP is a magical place.
